Fostering is a way of providing a family life for children who cannot live with their own parents.
With fostering often the child will return home once the problems that caused them to come into foster care have been solved, and it is clear that the parents, or extended family members are able to look after them safely.
People choose to become foster carers because they care about children and want to make a difference to their lives.
AF.ws has members who are both Fostering and Adoption Agencies, if you are interested in fostering go to:

People choose to adopt for a variety of reasons, including a desire to share some of the good things they have with a child who is less fortunate.
